Refunds and cancellations

You may cancel an order within 24 hours of placing it. Email support@wolfsmundlanepress.com with your order number before the 24 hours are up. After that, every sale is final: we do not offer refunds, returns, exchanges or cancellations.

Every hardcover order includes the digital edition, and the English Grimm hardcover the audiobook as well. They are delivered the moment payment completes and cannot be returned, so when a hardcover order is cancelled we refund everything you paid except the price of the digital edition of each title in the order, as listed on this site. For example, if you paid $39.95 for the hardcover and the digital edition sells for $14.95, you receive $25.00 back and keep the digital edition and the audiobook.

An order for the digital edition alone is delivered instantly and is not refundable.

If your hardcover arrives damaged or misprinted, or is lost in transit, we will send a replacement copy at no cost. Email support@wolfsmundlanepress.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number, and a photo if the book is damaged. A replacement is the only remedy offered; it is not exchanged for a refund.

What you are buying

Four titles: Grimm 1812: The Original Tales, Uncensored, Grimm 1812: Die Märchen der Erstausgabe (German edition), Andersen: The Tales in two volumes, and The French Tales. Each is sold as a hardcover or as a digital edition on its own. Every hardcover order includes the digital edition of the same title (PDF and EPUB) at no extra charge, and the English hardcover of Grimm 1812 also includes the audiobook of selected tales. Digital files are delivered by download links on your confirmation page and in your confirmation email.

The Grimm tales were collected for households, not nurseries. They contain violence and cruelty, and one antisemitic tale kept unaltered for completeness. Every title is sold as an adult edition of a historical text, complete and unaltered.

Shipping

Hardcovers ship to addresses in the United States only. Orders normally ship within about a week; most arrive within two to three weeks. These windows are estimates, not guarantees. We email you when your copy ships, with a tracking link, and you can check your order at any time at wolfsmundlanepress.com/order.

Please check your shipping address before you pay. We cannot change an address or redirect a parcel once your order has been passed to fulfilment, and a copy returned to us as undeliverable is not refunded.

Digital files

The PDF, EPUB and audiobook are licensed to you for personal use. You may keep copies on your own devices and read or listen to them as you like. You may not resell, redistribute, publish or share the files, in whole or in part. The translation, the plates and the design are the property of Wolfsmund Lane Press.

Prices and promotions

Prices are in US dollars. Sale prices and promotions can start, change or end at any time without notice, and a price paid before a change is not adjusted afterwards. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay, plus the shipping charge shown there.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Your order is confirmed when Stripe reports the payment as complete.
